Room for rent!! 663$ by Aug 1st

Room for rent | Fort Collins, CO, USA

Located close to the heart of old town. There is many things in walk able distance, luckys and target are located right across the street, as well as super close to campus. I am a female 26 looking preferably for another female around 20-30 or possibly someone who is a student/worker and just sticks to themselves. I work mostly full time and spend the rest of my time doing art. I am a pretty quiet person for the most part and don't have people over that often. No drx gs, smoking is alright as long as you were to go outside. Room is around 13ft by 10ft. There would be a shared bathroom/kitchen/living room area as well as a small bacony. I do have guinea pigs who I keep out in the living room so if you do have a pet, we would have to see how they react with each other. Depending on what pet you'd have there is a pet fee and possible pet Rent, the one time fee aside from pet Rent is around 300. Rent is 1325 which would be an even split (662.50) There is also the deposit which would also be that amount split. The lease starts Aug 1st through 7/31/27. I would need to also put you in contact with the leasing company as well before anything can proceed, you would need to fill out an application and or a roommate transfer since my current one is moving out. Utilities bill is usually around 30-50 split. There is unfortunately no on sight laundry but there are the hookups in the apartment. No A/C but there is heat, in the summer and it does get pretty hot inside, the apartment is on a 3rd floor, so I would suggest a window a/c unit. There are a few parking spots provided as well and the leasing company can provide you with a parking pass for that but doesn't always guarantee you get a spot, there is a lot of off street parking though. I'm usually available in the evening so anytime after 4:30 would be good time for me to show the apartment. for for any questions as well can exchange contacts and go from there. [REDACTED]

Private bed/bath in 2bd luxury apt

Room for rent | Fort Collins, CO, USA

*Available Oct 7th* Hi! We (my boyfriend and I) are looking for someone to share our 2 bedroom apartment at the Vibe Apartments with in South Fort Collins. It is a spacious 1,014 sqft two bedroom apartment on the second floor facing north with a balcony view of a field and greenery that is private from the sidewalk due to trees and plant growth that comes with a garage for storage space (already included in the price). You would have your own bedroom with a walk in closet as well as a private bathroom. The place is already fully furnished, including every kitchen appliance you can think of, as we currently live here and you would only need to furnish your own bedroom and bathroom. I do have 2 very well behaved dogs but they follow me around everywhere I go and hang in my room while I'm not home so they won't bother you! I included utilities in the full price since I already know what they are and they're in my name so what's posted is exactly what you'll be per month! The community itself is one of the best in Foco and has fantastic amenities including; 24/7 access go heated pool with baja shelf that's open all year long, hot tub, sauna, steam room, outdoor kitchen with dining area and outdoor 7 ft gas fireplace, expansive barbeque area and sun deck, large gym with a separate yoga/bike/TRX studio, bike maintenance center. Extra fun amenity for people that love beer - we have free 'happy hour' every day the clubhouse is open where you can get up to 2 free draft beers poured for you from whatever keg they have on tap that week! If you want to take a peak at their, here it is: You will have to do your own application online and get approved through them, I included 'move in fees' to capture an estimated amount for that application and security deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions About Rooms for Rent in Fort Collins, CO

  • How many rooms for rent are available in Fort Collins, CO right now?

Roomster currently shows 52 active rooms for rent across Fort Collins. That inventory spans Old Town, Campus West near Colorado State University, University Park, Midtown along College Avenue, the Harmony Corridor, Rigden Farm, and Fossil Creek, with renters often weighing the commute to CSU or the tech corridor, monthly budget, and winter heating costs. Move-in-ready rooms with parking, heat included, or bike access tend to go quickly in this northern Colorado market, especially before fall semester.

  • What are the best Fort Collins neighborhoods to rent a room?

It depends on commute and lifestyle. Old Town brings walkable historic streets, breweries, and the MAX bus line. Campus West and University Park sit closest to Colorado State University, popular with students. Midtown along College Avenue offers a wide mix near shopping and the MAX, while the Harmony Corridor, Rigden Farm, and Fossil Creek draw renters who want newer homes near the tech employers and quieter streets.

  • How much does a room for rent cost in Fort Collins?

Across current Roomster listings, room rent in Fort Collins generally runs $700-$1,100/month depending on neighborhood, amenities, and home size. Rooms in Old Town, near CSU, and in newer south-side communities can sit toward the higher end; areas farther from campus and along the edges of town often stretch your budget further. A private bathroom, parking, heat included, furnished status, and bike or MAX access usually explain most of the price difference in this market.

  • Can I find furnished or short-term rooms in Fort Collins?

Yes. Furnished and flexible-lease rooms appear regularly on Roomster, especially near Colorado State University, Front Range Community College, and the Harmony tech corridor where students, travel healthcare workers, and people relocating to northern Colorado drive steady demand for move-in-ready space. Those listings often bundle utilities or WiFi - a real help through a cold Front Range winter. Just confirm what comes with the room - parking, furniture, laundry access, and lease length - before you sign.

  • What should I check before renting a room in Fort Collins?

In Fort Collins, weigh the commute to CSU or the Harmony Corridor by car, the MAX bus, Transfort, or bike path, whether heat and utilities are included, parking and snow removal, laundry access, pet rules, and the lease term before committing. Because winters are cold and Fort Collins is a bike-friendly but spread-out city, an honest look at your commute and how you will get around often matters more than the address itself. A quick in-person visit also tells you a lot about parking, noise, and upkeep.

  • What is the best rooms for rent app in Fort Collins, CO?

Roomster is one of the top choices for finding rooms for rent in Fort Collins, CO. With ID screening, filters for budget and location, and direct messaging with hosts, it helps you sort the Fort Collins room market quickly - whether you are near Old Town, Campus West, Colorado State University, or the Harmony Corridor - without broker friction.

Start by considering neighborhood fit and housing type to focus your search effectively.

  • Neighborhoods: Areas near campus or downtown appeal to students and those seeking vibrant environments, while suburban neighborhoods may suit those wanting quieter house shares.

  • Lease terms: Look for listings offering flexible leases if your timeline is uncertain. Short-term or month-to-month rentals are available but vary by neighborhood.

What to Compare Before Renting a Room

Before committing, carefully review these factors to ensure the room matches your needs:

  • Roommate preferences: Understand who you’ll share with regarding lifestyle, cleanliness, and schedules.

  • Utilities and amenities: Check if utilities are included, and what laundry or parking options are available.
  • Lease and deposit: Clarify lease length, security deposit requirements, and move-in dates to avoid surprises.

When searching for rooms, watch out for common pitfalls:

  • Always request an ID check and an address check when possible to help confirm listing legitimacy.
  • Be cautious with payment methods; avoid wiring money or paying before seeing the room or signing a lease.
