Room available in North Portland

Room for rent | Portland, OR, USA

Room available in queer-friendly 3 bed 1 bath house! We've lived in this house for the past 6 years, it's a great neighborhood and the location is wonderful if you're looking for something not super far away from the city, but more of a neighborhood vibe. Lease term: 1 year, starting June 1, 2026 and ending May 31, 2027. Our third roommatejust movedout, so there is potential for you to move in earlier if looking for something sooner than June! Rent total each month (split between the three of us) is 2519.20, breaks down to $839.73 per person, due on the 1st of each month.Utilities vary depending on month but usually between 80-100 per person for power, gas, internet. Every 3 months we receive a water bill, and that’s usually around $180-200 per person. Security deposit is 1100 (we can arrange a payment plan if you’re unable to cover the full cost up front for the security deposit, will need at least first month’s worth of rent though). Total due for move-in is $1939.73 Lovely neighborhood in Arbor Lodge. The house is on a half-block and there’s a detached garage in the back. Plenty of street parking available. Front yard and a fenced in backyard. About a mile from the Yellow Line Rosa Parks MAX stop, and the 75 and 44 bus are only like a block away. The house is around 2400 sq. ft. And we have a basement too. A little about us: -TJ, they/he, 28. Roller skater, rider of bikes, gardener, collector of hobbies, custom frame shop manager, nursing student. Generally don't spend a whole lot of time at the house when the weather is not wet. -Nox: They/He, 35. Generally home quite a bit reading, working out in the gym, or watching to much survivor. When not home I'm working farmers markets, at a concert or going dancing. I have a large 12 1/2yo dog named Desmond. Building a co-living space

Room for rent | Portland, OR, USA

Looking for a couple like-minded people to share a calm, well-run home in PortlandI grew up outside the U.S., and over time Portland has become home for me. That mix of perspectives has shaped how I think about living with others. I value spaces that feel steady, supportive, and intentional, not just a place to land at the end of the day. At this point in my life, I’m interested in creating a home environment where people can do their best work, take care of themselves, and have a bit of room to grow. For me, that looks like a place that’s calm, clean, and respectful of each other’s routines, especially with working from home.I work remotely in people analytics and tend to keep a structured routine. Outside of work, I’m into cycling, fitness, and staying active. I appreciate a household where people are independent but open to occasional shared meals or conversations. What I’m looking for in the house: • People who are self-directed and responsible • Good communication, low drama • Shared spaces that stay clean without it being a big negotiation • A balance of privacy and connectionLogistics: • Target: 3–4 bedroom house • Budget: ~$1,200–$1,700 per person (flexible) • Everyone has their own room, ideally space for a home office • Bonus: garage or basement (bike storage, gym/workspace)Timing:Looking to move within 2 months If this resonates, send me a note about yourself and what you’re looking for in a shared home. Happy to connect and see if it’s a fit.

Medium size room in nerdy townhouse

Room for rent | Portland, OR, USA

Hey hey! We've got a medium sized room available in a vibrant, safe, cozy, nerdy townhouse. We're in a nice little corner of St. John's, tucked in a residential area right off Lombard Street. There's a surprisingly strong sense of community here for being in the city. We're right next to an arthouse theater, record store, retro game trader, camera shop, cafes, bars, some of the best Chinese food I've had, and a really good Italian restaurant that's open until midnight and barely a ten minute walk away. Open to any positive dynamics at all. Workers, students, couples, single parents. We're only looking for a good person who's trying their damn best. Stable enough to be reliable and communication are huge. My TOP priority is no drama. Again, open to anyone, but I think nerds are the ones who thrive in this home. We have company often enough, but it's not constant, and we are introverted. Still, house parties, game nights, and movie nights do happen. Total stoners, 420 friendly but please only smoke flower outside. We have a cute porch and a shared backyard. In unit washer dryer, haven't had any issues with them yet, but if we ever do, our maintenance are responsive and reliable. Chores are obviously just a group discussion and split up pretty evenly. All I ask is that you do your part and communicate with me. I am always available if there is anything you need. Seriously. Whether it's a genuine crisis, or even if you just need a friend to order a pizza and chill out with, I've got your back. Rent is due by the 1st each month, ideally sent to me slightly before. Electric is split three ways each month, usually around the 15th, and is usually about $90 each on higher usage months + $15 each for the high speed internet. No other fees. Water, garbage and landscaping are covered by the landlord. No overhead lighting in the bedrooms (very German, not sure why) lamps and LEDs are your friend. Hoping to have someone to move in by mid April. 🖤
