Looking for a roommate for my private bedroom in a two-bedroom, third-floor apartment! The room has a lock on the door and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with me, with two separate toilets and a shared shower. The apartment has a balcony, plenty of parking, optional paid covered parking, on- laundry, a pool, tennis court, and great maintenance and staff. Bills are included in the rent, and the new lease starts September 4th for a full year. We’re in a quiet, safe area near Kellogg and Webb, with Dillon’s, QuikTrip, restaurants, and other conveniences just around the corner. A little about me: I’m a single 34-year-old woman and a quiet, friendly homebody. I’m home a lot, but I’m happy to hang out or give you plenty of space depending on what you need. I enjoy board games, movies, and occasionally having friends over for game nights. I’d love a roommate who might want to join in sometimes, but there’s absolutely no pressure. Ideally, I’m hoping to find someone who is calm, communicative, clean, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent-friendly, and interested in potentially becoming friends or even a little found family rather than just being roommates. Guests are welcome with a little heads-up beforehand. I have two cats already, so unfortunately no additional cats or dogs, though caged pets may be okay. No smoking or vaping inside because I have birds and it can be dangerous for them. I also keep the apartment on the cooler side, so fair warning if you’re a heat-loving person! I’d love to chat and get to know each other before making any decisions or showing the room. I think finding the right roommate is about more than just checking boxes, I want us both to feel comfortable with who we’ll be sharing a home with.
