I live in a 3 bed, 2 bath split level house in wheat ridge, about 10-13 minutes from golden and about the same to downtown. I’m looking to fill either the basement(bedroom, office, and bathroom) with one person or two of the rooms (either upstairs and we share a larger bathroom, or downstairs and you have your own smaller bathroom) with 2 different people and the office room would remain a common room. Since it’s a split level the basement windows are standard sized and large like the upstairs rooms. It’s just me currently as my current roommate is in the process of moving out. Rent for half the house would be $1300 or $825 for a single room with the office basement room remaining a common room. In addition to the rooms there’s a fairly large kitchen with a lot of storage, a large living room, a backyard, and a 1 car garage (mostly used for storage) with an extended driveway. The house has AC and heat, and we would both be responsible for WiFi, power/gas, and a yearly trash/recycling bill. The landlord covers sewage and water. The neighborhood is great, and across the street are several restaurants, a running shop, a coffee shop, and a few other things. There’s also a large park 5 minute walking distance away. About me: I’m a physical therapist at 2 hospitals, one In golden and one in englewood and I mostly am down in englewood and commute 5 days a week down there usually. I enjoy skiing (downhill and AT), rock climbing, hiking, running, and am getting into cycling a bit more. I have two older huskies, so no more pets unfortunately. First room is a decent size 11x13$600 /month with window facing the North side of the house no direct sunlight but for sure light, and a regular closet. 2nd room is also in the basement window facing East so some direct sun in the morning. Closet under the stairs so extra storage space in the closet. The back yard is a shared space. NO DOGS AND NO MORE CATS. We have one short haired cat. Caged pets are okay based on lease agreement. Basically you cook, you eat, you clean is the mentality for the space and is not actually a hang out space. Shared laundry is available on. All detergents must be HE friendly, no exceptions.
