Large Master BedRoom

Room for rent | Keller, TX, USA

Everything is negotiable!.The master bedroom and large bathroom, with a large closet, will be the room that is available. The bed is a king size bed with a remote, so you can raise the head and the legs to a comfortable position. It also has a gravity setting. You will have access to the rest of the house. If you have family that wants to come visit that is great and we have extra guest rooms. My kitchen is complete with all of the latest conveniences. You will have off-street parking, but I don’t have enough room in the garage for two cars. Your spot in the driveway will always be yours and no one will be parked in it when you arrive home from wherever you may be. I am a senior woman who would prefer an older roommate, but one who doesn’t necessarily act like an old person, or even want to be an old person. LOL A younger person would not necessarily be a dealbreaker, though. I have two small pups, plus a dog sitting business. The only time there will be more than two dogs in the house is when I have other dogs that I am watching…which is almost daily. I only accept small dogs. They are rarely noisy, unless the doorbell rings. They are not under foot all the time. They will not be allowed in your room and I have them contained. They have a doggie door so they come in and out as they please. I seldom have visitors. Occasionally I will have someone over for a couple of hours in the evening. I will never have company of any kind without letting you know first, and never will a male stay overnight that isn’t someone in my family. I don’t drink a lot, but I enjoy an occasional drink. I have a good friend that comes over once in a while and we have a couple of drinks and maybe dinner. The room will be available sometime in May but, I’m not positive of the exact date. If you have to move sooner I have another room where you can stay. ‘I just want to live out the rest of my life drama and stress free…and in peace!

What Makes Fort Worth, TX a Good Place to Rent a Room?

Fort Worth offers a range of room rental options suitable for different lifestyles and budgets. Whether you prefer a private room or a shared room in a shared apartment, the city’s diverse neighborhoods provide choices near transit, downtown access, or quieter residential areas. Many renters in Fort Worth look for flexible lease terms such as month-to-month room rentals or short-term sublets, which can be ideal if you need adaptability in your living situation. Additionally, amenities like laundry facilities and furnished rooms are common considerations depending on your preferences.

How to Narrow Down Rooms for Rent in Fort Worth, TX?

When searching for rooms for rent in Fort Worth, focus on areas that match your commute needs and lifestyle. Consider neighborhoods that offer easy access to public transit or are near your workplace or school. Filtering listings by room type—private room versus shared room—and amenities like pet-friendly options or furnished rooms can significantly refine your search. Using Roomster’s filters to specify lease terms, such as month-to-month rentals or sublets, helps you find listings that match your timing and flexibility requirements.

  • Check listings with utilities included to simplify budgeting.
  • Look for rooms with laundry access if that’s important to you.
  • Consider proximity to transit lines for easier daily travel.

What to Compare Before Renting a Room

Before committing to a room in Fort Worth, review the lease terms carefully, including the length of the lease and deposit requirements. Many landlords require an ID check and address check to confirm your identity and residency, so be prepared to provide those documents. Compare rooms based on privacy needs—decide if a private room or a shared room better fits your comfort and budget. Also, consider whether the room is furnished or unfurnished, and if the listing allows pets, if that applies to you.

How to Avoid Common Room Rental Mistakes in Fort Worth, TX?

Be cautious when it comes to payments and personal information. Avoid wiring money before you meet a landlord or roommate in person, and never provide sensitive documents prematurely. Confirm the legitimacy of the listing by asking about the lease terms and who manages the property. Meeting potential roommates or landlords in safe, public places or via video calls before signing anything can help you avoid scams. Roomster offers ID check and address check features to add a layer of confidence when reviewing listings.
