Need somone to take over my lease

Вся квартира | Salt Lake City, UT, USA

I am searching for someone to take over my lease for my 1 bed – 1 bath apartment in downtown Salt Lake. The base rent is $1400 a month, which is a great deal given all of the community amenities. The apartment is located on the corner of 700S and Main Streetin an apartment complex. Located less than a block from 600S Trax station, you have easy access to downtown Salt Lake, and trains heading south. Quick and easy access to I-15 North and South. It is less than 10 minutes to the Avenues neighborhood, and less than 10 minutes to the Delta Center, LDS Church Offices, and the Salt Lake Temple. The complex has insane and amazing amenities: there is a gym, a rooftop pool, hot tub, outside workout area, pickleball courts, basketbaIl courts, cabanas, two community grill areas, a clubhouse, conference rooms and an office area for residents with printer access, a beautiful courtyard, a great little market in the building for emergency essentials. The building requires a fob for access, there is also a call box for guests to contact for entry. The community is pet friendly, and well kept. The apartment has normal wear and tear from my living in it for three years, and you will not have to pay move in costs or a deposit I believe because you are added as a roommate and I would be taken off the lease. The monthly rent is $1400, and there are property random fees on top of it, which brings the monthly cost to $1667. Available but not required: I have a parking space right next to the garage door entrance, and I also have a storage unit on the property which are extra if you would like to keep them. That extra on top if you choose it comes to $145 a month. These are not required, as there is street parking, and of course you can choose to get a storage unit elsewhere.

  • How many apartments for rent are available in West Valley City, UT right now?

Roomster currently shows 7 active apartment listings in West Valley City. That inventory typically spans Granger, Hunter, the Fairbourne district, the Valley Fair area, and the neighborhoods near I-215, Redwood Road, and the UTA TRAX Green Line, with renters comparing neighborhoods by rent, commute, and amenities. Fresh apartment listings move fast when priced near market rate with clear notes on parking, heat, and amenities.

  • What are the best West Valley City neighborhoods to rent an apartment?

For a quick Salt Lake City commute, many renters start with the Fairbourne district and the Valley Fair area, close to the city center, the mall, and the TRAX Green Line. Granger and Hunter appeal to those who want established, family-friendly streets. Chesterfield, Redwood, and the areas near 3500 South and 5600 West offer more space and value near the highways and the job corridor, while renters who want a different mix often look toward Taylorsville, Kearns, and West Jordan.

  • How much does an apartment for rent cost in West Valley City?

Across current Roomster listings, apartment rent in West Valley City typically ranges studios: $1,050-$1,200/month; 1-bedroom: $1,250-$1,400/month; 2-bedroom: $1,500-$1,700/month. Newer complexes near the Fairbourne district and the TRAX line run toward the higher end because of amenities and the Salt Lake City commute; areas in Hunter, Chesterfield, and the west side tend to offer value. Parking, in-unit laundry, updated finishes, and walking distance to a TRAX station account for the largest premiums.

  • Can I find furnished or no broker fee apartments in West Valley City?

Yes. Furnished apartments and direct-to-landlord listings both appear on Roomster, especially near the TRAX Green Line, Salt Lake Community College, and the logistics and manufacturing corridor where warehouse and factory workers, students, and people relocating to the Salt Lake Valley create steady demand. That helps people moving for work or unwilling to furnish a place from scratch. Just compare the full move-in cost - rent, deposit, parking, utilities, and any application or building fees - not only the advertised rent.

  • What should I look for before renting an apartment in West Valley City?

Before renting in West Valley City, check commute time to Salt Lake City or work, TRAX Green Line or highway access, parking, whether utilities are included, heat, in-unit laundry, pet policy, and lease terms. In this market, those practical details often matter more than polished marketing copy, especially when you are comparing city-center options near the Fairbourne district with more spacious, value-oriented rentals in Hunter or near 5600 West.

  • What is the best apartment finder app in West Valley City, UT?

Roomster is one of the top apartment finder options in West Valley City. It connects renters with individual landlords across Granger, Hunter, the Fairbourne district, the Valley Fair area, and beyond - with ID screening and no broker fees.
