Private Furnished Bedroom & Bath

Zimmer zu vermieten | Tulsa, OK, USA

Ideally located in Broken Arrow near the Tulsa city line, this apartment offers easy access to the Creek Turnpike, Highway 169, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The home is located within a beautifully maintained gated community with controlled access, providing added privacy, security, and peace of mind while keeping you close to everything you need. The available bedroom is 11x11 and will be furnished with a full-size bed, nightstand, and vanity, offering a move-in-ready space. You'll also have your own private bathroom. The apartment features an open floor plan with, in-unit washer and dryer, and a hared living area and kitchen. The community offers a swimming pool, fitness center, indoor rock climbing wall, dog park and car washing station. I'm a single business professional who works a traditional daytime schedule and values a clean, comfortable, and respectful home environment. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, watching movies, relaxing at home, and exploring Tulsa and Broken Arrow. I'm looking for a responsible, reliable roommate who appreciates a peaceful living environment. I enjoy keeping shared spaces clean and organized, cleaning up after cooking, and communicating openly about household needs. Occasional guests are welcome, but this isn't a party house, so I'm looking for someone with a similar lifestyle who values consideration and mutual respect. Rent is $750 per month, with utilities split equally (50/50) between both roommates. Utilities include water, electricity, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The selected roommate will be required to complete the apartment community's standard application process, including credit, background, and income verification, and will be added to the lease. Flexible lease options are available with either a 6-month or 12-month lease, and a 90-day written notice is required before moving out.

2 bed 1 bath

Zimmer zu vermieten | South Madison Place, Tulsa, OK, USA

My roommate is moving out at the end of August and I need a new roommate by then. 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, ground floor apartment with one connected neighbor, sort of duplex style. $1,000 a month total, all bills paid (you will pay 500). Pet friendly, but I have 2 cats so they must live well with other animals. My cats like dogs. Front and back door, in-unit washer/dryer, all hardwood, shared spaces are furnished. I'm looking for a responsible roommate who is preferably female. I could be convinced for male, but I have a boyfriend who is over often so please be kind and respectful. I value group effort when it comes to chores and cleanliness, so while I'd prefer if you were all around tidy, I understand things happen and I request you keep your mess to your room. However, unsanitary issues (wet towels on the floor, old food in your room, pet waste, ect.) will cause a problem. I love a list and chore chart. I smoke weed but if requested I have no problem going outside. I have 2 cats and I love animals. Looking for someone who doesn't mind them in shared spaces. I fucking hate this app it's deleted this text twice now and it won't let me add photos, I just keep getting the "failed to add photo" text. If we start talking I will gladly show you pictures. DM me on Instagram to bypass the paywall @its_micah_bson

  • How many rooms for rent are available in Broken Arrow, OK right now?

Broken Arrow is a homeowner's suburb first - roughly seven in ten households own rather than rent - so rooms here are scarcer and a touch pricier than in Tulsa next door, and most open up in the newer apartment pockets or family homes with a spare bedroom. Roomster has 39 rooms for rent listed around the city, weighted toward the apartment-heavy Aspen Creek area in the south and the blocks near the Rose District downtown. Broken Arrow runs ZIP codes 74011, 74012, and 74014, the last of which sits in Wagoner County, so a room tagged 74014 is out on the eastern, Forest Ridge side of town.

  • How much does a room for rent in Broken Arrow, OK cost per month?

Rooms here generally run $500 to $750 a month, with furnished rooms and ones that fold in utilities reaching toward $950, and the occasional private-bath room higher still. You can find rooms under $650 a month around Aspen Creek and the older Country Aire streets, where the housing is more modest, while rooms near Forest Ridge or Stone Wood Hills ask more because those are the upscale, newer parts of town. Worth knowing: because Broken Arrow rents run above Tulsa's, a room here costs a little more than the same room a few miles west - you are paying for newer housing and the Broken Arrow school zones.

  • Which Broken Arrow neighborhoods have the cheapest rooms for rent?

The value is in the south and the older core. Aspen Creek, off the Creek Turnpike near Garnett, is the most apartment-heavy corner of the city and the easiest place to land a cheaper room, and the established Country Aire and downtown Broken Arrow streets run below the citywide average too. Rooms cost more out east toward Forest Ridge in Wagoner County and around Stone Wood Hills near the hospital, where the homes are newer and larger. For a room close to the walkable Rose District, look at the 74012 blocks around Main Street.

  • Can I find a room for rent near FlightSafety, Zeeco, or the Tulsa commute?

Yes, and Broken Arrow's job base makes for steady room demand. FlightSafety International builds full-flight simulators here with a workforce of around 640, and Zeeco turns out combustion and emissions equipment at its Broken Arrow technology center - together they employ well over a thousand engineers and skilled-trade workers, many renting a room while they settle in. Plenty of renters also take a Broken Arrow room to commute into Tulsa on the BA Expressway, about 15 miles northwest. Filter by move-in date and the part of town nearest your job, and mention your shift if you work one - a room near your plant beats a cross-town drive in a city where nearly every trip needs a car.

  • Are Broken Arrow rooms for rent near transit, or do I need a car?

Plan on a car. Broken Arrow is one of the most car-dependent cities its size, with a Walk Score in the low 20s and no fixed-route bus grid of its own - just the Route 900 express to downtown Tulsa from a park-and-ride and an on-demand micro-transit pilot you book through an app. The Rose District downtown is the one genuinely walkable pocket, so a room in the 74012 core comes closest to car-free living. Everywhere else - Aspen Creek, Forest Ridge, the Battle Creek area - you will want your own vehicle, and the BA Expressway, Creek Turnpike, and Muskogee Turnpike are how you get around.

  • What should I check before renting a room in Broken Arrow, OK?

Ask who is on the lease, which utilities are included, and whether you are a co-tenant or subletting. On the deposit, Oklahoma sets no cap, but the landlord has to keep it in an escrow account at an Oklahoma bank and return it within 45 days of the tenancy ending, you handing back the keys, and your written request - and you have to make that request within six months or you forfeit the claim. Ask what any screening fee covers before you pay. Meet the household in person or on video, see the actual room, and never send a deposit to someone you have not met.

Essential Guide to Rent a Room in Broken Arrow, OK

If you want to rent a room in Broken Arrow, OK, whether you’re a student, young professional, or new to the area, knowing the local rental landscape helps you find a suitable place. From private rooms to shared apartments, factoring in your budget, lease flexibility, and commute options will lead to a better living experience. This guide offers practical advice on choosing neighborhoods, comparing room types, and timing your search to fit your lifestyle.

What Makes Broken Arrow, OK a Good Place to Rent a Room

Broken Arrow provides diverse room rental options that cater to various budgets and lifestyles. Many renters look for furnished rooms or listings that include utilities to simplify monthly costs. Depending on your daily routine, proximity to public transit or workplaces can be important, especially if you commute. Flexible lease options such as month-to-month or short-term rentals are also common, suiting students and temporary residents.

How to Narrow Down Rooms for Rent in Broken Arrow, OK

To focus your search effectively, consider these factors related to neighborhoods and room features:

  • Neighborhood Choice: Rooms near downtown Broken Arrow offer easy access to transit and amenities but may be pricier. More residential neighborhoods often have affordable shared apartments or house shares.
  • Room Preferences: Decide if you prefer a private room for more privacy or a shared room to save on rent and meet new people.
  • Lease Terms: Look for month-to-month or short-term room rentals if you need flexibility.
  • Furnishings and Utilities: Furnished rooms with utilities included can make moving and budgeting easier.
  • Commute and Transit: Prioritize locations near public transit or your workplace to reduce travel time and expenses.

Using these filters on Roomster can help you find rooms that match your needs quickly and clearly.

What to Compare Before Renting a Room

Before making a commitment, check these key details to ensure the room suits you:

  • Budget and Deposits: Consider rent along with any security deposit required.
  • Lease Terms: Understand the lease duration and if subletting or flexible terms are allowed.
  • Room and Bathroom Setup: Private rooms with private bathrooms usually offer more comfort; shared spaces tend to be less expensive.
  • Amenities: confirm availability of laundry facilities, parking, and other conveniences.
  • Move-in Date: Confirm the room’s availability aligns with your planned move-in.

Discussing these aspects with landlords or current roommates helps avoid surprises later.

How to Avoid Common Room Rental Mistakes in Broken Arrow, OK

Keep your search safe and straightforward by following these recommendations:

  • Use Roomster’s ID and Address Checks: These features assist in confirming the legitimacy of listings and contacts.
  • Be Careful with Payments: Don’t send money before meeting in person and reviewing any lease agreements.
  • Meet or Video Chat Before Finalizing: This helps confirm the room’s condition and assess roommate compatibility.
  • Request a Written Lease: A formal contract outlines responsibilities and protects your rights.

Taking these precautions reduces risks and builds confidence in your rental choice.
