Hi all - I have two rooms available for rent in a spacious 4 bedroom house (2500 sq ft). You will also be sharing the house with 2 other people, including 1 person who is currently lives there (a young professional who works nearby in RTP). Utilities, internet ( Fiber), and lawn maintenance are all split equally amongst everyone in the house. There is lots of extra room for storage in the garage and there is a giant bonus room that serves as a guest bedroom and rec room as well. Long term leases (6 months - 1 year) are preferred, but we can discuss if you need a term shorter or longer than that. Security deposit and first month’s rent is required to secure the room. Each of the bedrooms available are roughly (12x11) with a shared bathroom and a good size double door closet. Each bedroom is $585/month. Both are available immediately. I have 2 cats, very friendly, won't make them your responsibility, they typically go to my parents' house when I go to work anyway. I do want someone who at least kinda likes cats though. You'll have the hall bathroom to yourself, except when there are guests, as mine is en suite and I won't always want people going through my room to use the bathroom. So it will need to be kept reasonably clean, but its all yours. The house is around 1200sq ft, back deck, just down Harrison from Downtown Cary, near the Walmart on Maynard/Harrison. My parents own the house. I rent from them, as would you. That means anything in the kitchen or whatever that gets broken will get fixed promptly, which I reckon is a plus. My parents don't actually want to make money off rent, I'd just like to have someone come in to cover the other half of the mortgage, so don't expect to be gouged. As long as you respect me, my cats and the house, it should be fine. I am a semi-light sleeper, I'll ask that anyone be cognisant of that when they are getting up in the mornings.
