Bedroom in shared house Nov.1💜
出租房间 | South Lowell Boulevard, Denver, CO, USA
My roommate and I are looking for a 3rd person to move in November 1st! We live in a one floor house in the Harvey Park neighborhood, right off the 35 bus route. We have all new appliances in the kitchen installed last year, including a brand new dishwasher, stove and oven range, and refrigerator, as well as a brand new drier in the laundry room. You will share a bathroom with Austin, he's 29, very kind and good with communication. I'm 26, non binary, and most comfortable living with women and queer people, but we are open to anyone that seems like a good fit! We like to keep the house very clean and are looking for someone with similar expectations. We have a large fenced backyard and no pets currently. I'm allergic to cats, but well behaved dogs are welcome! 420 friendly. There is a $900 deposit, rent is $900, and utilities included xcel, water, and wifi, usually ranging between $75-130 each. We are looking for someone to sign a year lease beginning November 1st, but we would like to have a period ideally to make sure we are a good fit. Please reach out if you have any questions!

常见问题
How many rooms for rent are available in Centennial, CO right now?
Centennial is an affluent Denver suburb where more than 80 percent of homes are owner-occupied, so most rooms for rent here are spare bedrooms in single-family houses and townhomes rather than units in big apartment complexes. Roomster has 39 rooms for rent listed around Centennial, spread through Willow Creek and Southglenn on the west side near the Denver Tech Center, and out east toward Smoky Hill and Saddle Rock. Because the city's ZIP codes - 80111, 80112, 80121, 80122, 80015, and 80016 - all cross into Aurora, Littleton, or Greenwood Village, check the neighborhood on a listing, not just the ZIP, to be sure a room is really in Centennial.
How much does a room for rent in Centennial, CO cost per month?
Rooms here generally run $800 to $1,200 a month, well below the roughly $1,900 a one-bedroom of your own would cost in this suburb. You can find rooms under $1,000 a month in the older Southglenn and Cherry Knolls neighborhoods on the west side and out toward the Smoky Hill area in the east, where the single-family homes are a bit older and more affordable, while rooms in the newer townhomes near the Denver Tech Center and the I-25 light-rail stations ask more for the commute they save. Since so much of the room supply is house-shares, a lot depends on the household, so read the listing closely.
Which Centennial neighborhoods have the cheapest rooms for rent?
The east side toward Smoky Hill Road and Saddle Rock, where Centennial blends into Aurora, tends to have the cheaper rooms, along with the older single-family pockets of Southglenn and Cherry Knolls on the west. The most sought-after rooms sit near the Denver Tech Center along I-25 - in Willow Creek and near the Dry Creek and County Line light-rail stations - where professionals pay for a short commute. Southglenn, anchored by The Streets at SouthGlenn, has more of the townhome and condo stock where shared rooms turn up. For a cheaper room, look east; for transit and Tech Center access, look west along I-25.
Can I find a room for rent near the Denver Tech Center in Centennial?
Yes, and the Denver Tech Center is the reason a lot of Centennial rooms get rented. The DTC is a roughly 900-acre office district straddling Centennial, Greenwood Village, and Denver along I-25, with around 35,000 workers at firms like Charles Schwab, Arrow Electronics, and CoBank, so plenty of professionals rent a room here to cut the commute. Look on the west side of Centennial near the Dry Creek, Arapahoe at Village Center, and County Line light-rail stations, which put you a short walk or ride from the offices. Filter by move-in date and lease length, and if you want a quiet, professional household, say so - much of Centennial's share market skews that way.
Are Centennial rooms for rent near transit, or do I need a car?
Centennial is a car-first suburb, but it has something most Denver suburbs do not: light rail. RTD's Southeast Rail Line runs along I-25 with the Dry Creek station in Centennial and the County Line and Arapahoe at Village Center stations serving the city and the Tech Center, so a room on the west side can put you on a train to downtown Denver without driving. Out east toward Smoky Hill and Saddle Rock, you are well away from rail and will need a car, though RTD buses run the main roads. When you weigh a room, check the distance to an I-25 light-rail station if a car-light commute is the goal.
What should I check before renting a room in Centennial, CO?
Ask who is on the lease, which utilities are included, and, because so many Centennial rentals sit in HOA-governed subdivisions and townhome communities, whether the association limits leasing, parking, or guests. On the deposit, Colorado sets no cap but requires the landlord to return it within a month of you leaving - up to 60 days if the lease says so - with an itemized list of any deductions. Late fees are limited to the greater of $50 or 5 percent of the overdue rent, after a 7-day grace period. See the room in person or on video, meet the household, and never send a deposit to someone you have not met.
