My job fired me before thanksgiving 2025 over how my head injury affects me. Without accommodations given to me, they tried to label me incompetent. I am not. I am affected. I *must* apply to jobs with disability and not a single job in KCMO has taken me seriously, believed me, or decided to hire me in 4 months. I lost my apartment because I was unable to pay my rent over the lack of employment. I am dying to find a job, my car was stolen last year when I moved here last year, I have no family or friends near me, I NEED a place to stay. I have some money to pay rent. I just need someone to understand why I don’t have a lot of money left. I need a place to stay so I can find a job.
