Two guys are currently living in the house, looking for someone normal, clean, and easy to get along with. Street parking is easy, and it’s a quick drive or bike to campus. I am a homeowner in Walton, KY renting out a couple of the spare rooms in my house. I am offering a private room with a shared bathroom (shared only with the other rental bedroom), use of the laundry facilities and kitchen, and utilities included for the monthly price listed. The move in fee listed is a security deposit collected at the time the lease is signed and returned at the end of the lease as long as no damage occurred. The location is not on a bus line, so transportation might be needed. There are some fast food places, a grocery store and various other shops close by. Also, relatively easy access to the interstate means getting to Florence or even Cincinnati is not too difficult. Bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished. Home includes on-, upstairs laundry, a large front porch, a backyard with a firepit, friendly neighbords, and ample basement storage (if needed). We say that we ‘dumb-lucked’ our way into the house - it unexpectedly fell into our budget in our top neighborhood, but it honestly bigger than we need for the two of us (hence the room for rent). Trevor works from our home office as a software consultant, but travels approximately ~1 week a month for work. Kat works locally as a vet assistant and is in school part-time to become a vet tech. We’re friendly but relatively introverted; we enjoy bar trivia, board games, movie nights, and traveling. We’re both progressive, queer-friendly, and 420-friendly. We’re looking for someone with shared values - if you can’t say “ ICE” with your whole chest, we’re probably not the right fit for you. We also have three pets - a miniature dachshund,; a three-legged foster-fail cat, George; and a parakeet, Jellybean. Your pets are welcome, assuming they are friendly with other animals and up-to-dates on shots/vaccines.
