Roommate Finder in West Side, Chicago, IL, USA

looking for a room to rent/roommates hi! my name is anya, but i go by nya. 💕 i’m originally from houston, texas, but i lived in chicago for 3 years before getting into a bad car wreck in july 2025 that resulted in me losing 3 fingers and becoming an amputee. after everything i’ve been through, i’m finally ready to move back to the midwest, start over, and focus on living life for me❤️🩹. i’m currently looking for a room to rent or roommates in chicago. i work as an rbt monday through friday during the day, and i have a small boston terrier puppy named milo. i’m planning to make the drive back to chicago on december 1st, so i’m hoping to find a place before then! if you have a room available, are looking for a roommate, or know of any affordable housing options, please feel free to message me. i’d really appreciate any leads. thank you! (preferably close to the border of indiana due to me still in school at purdue northwest.)

Looking for an already established apartment/household with 1-2 (preferably female) roommates that is cat friendly. I am relocating to chicago to find better work opportunities to help pay my way through nursing school. Looking for roommates who clean up after themselves and respect shared spaces but also are reasonable when it comes to cleaning and dividing up chores. (eg. not freaking out over one dish left in the sink but also not expecting one person to always be the one cleaning up). I am a pretty quiet person and like my home to feel like a safe space. I don't mind having guests as long as I know they are coming over before they arrive. I am an artsy person. I love crafts, drawing, and making music. I also love to cook and I love sharing my creations. I like to party and go out with friends while still having a safe and quiet place to come home to. Since I will be attending school during the day, I typically work 2nd or 3rd shifts. I am a pretty heavy sleeper, so if our schedules don't perfectly align it would not be an issue for me as long as it's not an issue for you. If I sound like I would be a good match for your household, please don't hesitate to reach out! I would love to get in touch:)
