Bedroom available in this cute, vintage home on Frankstown Road in Penn Hills. (There is an additional room for rent which will be listed separately). This room is painted a soothing shade of soft, herbal green. It has a ceiling fan and a radiator. We can provide a portable AC unit for the summer if you don’t have your own. The room is fully furnished with a queen bed, two dressers, a closet with hangers, a desk, and chair. Room has a hardwood floor and a washable (Ruggable brand) area rug. It is an upstairs room, and gets good light! A great vintage kitchen and basement laundry are available to you. There’s also a nice sized backyard and off-street parking. There is one shared full bath upstairs (tub/shower combo) with plenty of storage, and a half bath on the main floor. There is also a “Pittsburgh potty” in the basement for emergencies. Rent includes internet, trash, and monthly professional house cleaning. Additional utilities are split between roommates. I co-own this house with my mom, who lives there in the 3rd bedroom. She is a fun and quiet roommate in her early 60s. She’ll be glad to share meals, conversations and movie nights from time to time if you’d like! There is a grocery store (Giant Eagle) in easy walking distance, and it is only a short 8-12 minute drive to coffee shops, Target, the East End Food Co-Op, Trader Joe’s, Bakery Square, etc. in East Liberty. Extremely close to bus stops as well (77 within a minute or two, 79 within 6-10 minutes) Note: We checked the “cannabis friendly” box, because edibles are fine! But this is strictly a no smoking home.:-)
