I just moved here 6 months ago and am looking to move into a new place sometime this fall and would like to find a roommate or two to go in on a nicer place. I have a very sweet cat and dog! I do take my dog to a doggy daycare during my work hours. I have an active lifestyle and on occasion have a friend come to visit. Looking for a respectful, open-minded roommate who loves animals! I work at the university and am looking for a place just north of Hyde Park but I am open to a place further north near public transportation. If anyone has a place with a yard that is a huge plus!

I'm a big animal person so I would like to live in an animal friendly home, I will likely have or be getting a cat of my own. I also wanted to say that ufortunately, I'm not friendly and am straight edge (though I don't really use that term). I don't mind if my house mates drink on occasion. I just don't like having smoking of any kind in the house. I think I just want to find a place I can feel welcome. I just sort of wanted to put my feelers out there and see what it's like. I'm open to living with any race or gender but would prefer my housemates be at least and older. Exceptions would be made for a great fit.
