I am looking to find a roommate to fill one open bedroom in my house (the other one is another renter). I am the homeowner and I also live full time in the house. No pets; preference for only one person. The house is more than 2k sqft, with a good-sized backyard. No animals allowed due to my allergies. Cleaning service included about every two weeks. (Everyone will still do their own dishes and keep the common areas tidy). The lease is one-year (then month to month) for the unfurnished bedroom, and it shares a bathroom with the other renter. House has all hardwood floors, and tile/linoleum, so sound carries very easily, and we all like to keep the noise level down overnight. I am self-employed as a consultant and work from home. I'm old enough to be focused on work and not partying at my house, and I'm also extroverted. I am very ambitious about my career, and I regularly work more hours than the usual. I am funny (dry, witty, sarcastic). The other tenant you will share a bathroom with is a sixty-year old male who is a substitute teacher and loves to ride bicycles. Your shared bathroom has: a toilet, bathtub/shower, and two sinks. The kitchen is updated with relatively new appliances, and includes cookware/dishes you can use. Washer/dryer onsite. Basement storage available. The common areas downstairs are furnished, although there may be some space for a few small items if you have any. Plenty of street parking on my cul-de-sac...no frustrating hours spent hunting for a spot! The room is available August twenty fifth.
