I am looking for a roommate to accompany me and my cat, Mr. Sushi, in my 2-bed apartment in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. I’m currently a dog walker/pet sitter, but I’m looking to get a restaurant job to hold me over until I attend grad school in the fall. The apartment is fully furnished, and I’m only going to charge $ for the extra room in my apartment. You would only be responsible for furnishing your room. I am very comfortable sharing, as long as you treat my belongings with respect. I am a very clean person, and I would like a roommate who is clean and organized. I would prefer to live with another queer person of color (I am Bangladeshi, but I also speak Spanish and love to practice languages), but I’m open to anyone. I practice music from the time and like to play music out loud but not super loud or anything. I have a partner who is over 2x a week, but that number varies from week to week. The closet is feet wide and over 3 feet deep.My girlfriend and I are looking for a roommate to help with bills so we can save some money. We're in a stable, no-drama relationship. We're very laid back and mostly keep to ourselves. That much said, I'm going to be setting up a " projector screen for movie night, etc. So that'll probably bring us out of our room more often. We're clean, responsible, and friendly.Parking is very easy on the street before about 7pm. I normally park right outside the front door. After 7pm you may have to park a block or two away. There is parking available out back for an extra fee. I'd have to talk to the landlord about that if you're interested.The biking/walking trail is less than 5 min away by bike which is an express trip into Wicker Park. You can put your bike right inside the front door.Armitage bus is a sec walk from the apartment.
