Hi, I hope you’re doing well. I didn’t want to reach out like this, but I’m really in a difficult situation. I’m an online college student and I’m on the verge of being homeless. I start a new job next week, but that doesn’t change that I don’t have anywhere stable to stay right now. I can get a hotel room, but it’s hard to manage because there aren’t any affordable hotels near downtown Charleston, and the ones in my budget are too far from where I’ll be working. I’ve tried contacting homeless agencies in Charleston, but they keep referring me to other places without actually helping. I’m doing everything I can, but I’m running out of options. If you’re able to let me stay temporarily until I get paid, I would really appreciate it. I’m not asking for anything long-term. If you need proof that I start work next week, I can show you.
