Hi, my name is Kristin. I am looking for a room to rent in the Myrtle Beach/Surfside Beach area. I just finished my Bachelor's degree and am looking to start a professional career. I have a pet sitting business where I take care of clients' pets in their homes. I have been living in an overpriced townhome for over a year. Recently new tenants moved into the community who are loud and smoke weed inside, which comes into my apt. Mgmt has given me the opportunity to break my lease within the next month if I desire. Going forward, I would much rather share the cost of living with someone. I am clean, tidy, and quiet. I do not drink or do any drugs. I can tolerate smoking outside. I haven't had time for a social life or going out and am trying to save to buy a house at some point. I am friendly and respectful. I get along with most people but have gotten used to being by myself since being locked into school and work for the past year and a half. I have a large dog who is house-trained and laid back. He does not like other dogs at first. He's quiet and doesn't bark unless something is wrong or he's playing. I have an older cat who sleeps except to eat. Both are well-maintained and love people. We appreciate routine and stability and want a quiet, clean, safe, smoke-free environment that is not breaking the bank. On top of cutting costs, it would be nice to have someone to go to the beach and/or work out with. However, I am totally fine with not having any/frequent interaction if that is the case.
