I have never had a roommate in my life but my friend who was supposed to move in with me ended up moving to another state. I am owner of unit so you would be helping me pay my mortgage. I am pretty chill bartender who does gig work on my spare time (DoorDash grubhub). This can be a short term 3-6 month lease to start and see how things go. Building is 6 minutes walk to western blue line. A couple stops away from uic and medical district and 4-6 stops (12-20 min) away from the loop downtown Chicago. This is perfect for a student or someone who is interning at medical district or working downtown and wants to be closer to downtown area. Non-permit parking out front if you drive and there’s usually plenty of parking available. I’m home about 3 days/nights a week so it stays pretty quiet. When I am home I watch a game or two in the living room or a movie and I keep it low. 1st floor unit no stairs!!!Room includes: in unit washer and dryer. Private spacious closet. Living room access with huge 77 inch OLED tv if you like watching movies or sports. Central Ac and heat in the winter. We would be splitting utilities which has been $150 + WiFi which has been $80 so split in 2 would be a total utility bill of $115 or so for you. The monthly rent is $1200 plus utilities split three ways. (Typically about $90-$100 monthly) Looking for a roommate to move in to this overly large top two floors duplex with extra third floor roof room. 3br 3.5baths. We are looking to fill the larger of the two main floor bedrooms. It has an attached private full bathroom with tub/shower, decent closet space and more than enough room for a queen/king size bed plus dressers and desk. The unit also includes in unit washer/dryer a full range of kitchen appliances. All roommates have their own bathroom with an additional half bath on the top floor. The main floor living room is furnished with a large leather sectional couch. Neither roommate uses the main floor living room daily only for the occasional special occasion. You can set it up with a tv and make it a bit of your own space. One roommate is on the top floor by themselves the other has the second main floor bedroom. You do not share a wall and the upstairs room isn’t directly above your bedroom. Very large private rooftop for our unit only. Beautiful city skyline views. And an enclosed back porch on main level. One cat okay no dogs. Currently one cat in unit that keeps to the top floor. No cigarette smoking inside but weed okay. Parking on street is permit.
