I'm a single dad looking for a semi permanent space for myself and my two kids. I share custody with their mom. I basically need a place to call home with them consecutive days a month, 8 months out of the year. I travel for work the rest of the month and we spend several months out of state, typically through the summer and holidays when we wouldn't be there at all. I'm looking for a semi private space, a basement floor or separate floor, or a detached garage or bldg where we could keep our things and stay when in town. Ideally empty nesters or another single parent that might have the same household expectations and needs. My kids are great, we're tidy, no pets, no smoking, no drugs... I'm reliable and considerate. I run a construction company out of state and would be more than willing to improve on a property to suit our needs or the needs of the homeowner in exchange for use of the space or rent reduction. I'm flexible. Just pretty worn out of hotels and Airbnbs and having no permanence. It just doesn't really make sense for me to rent a place for it to sit empty of the time.
