New Listing

Flat share | St. Johns, Portland, OR, USA

Looking for a housemate starting July 1 (move-in timing flexible). The home is located on Tioga Ave in a great St. Johns neighborhood - close to downtown, with easy access to grocery and convenience stores, lots of nearby food and entertainment options, and Cathedral Park within walking distance. The house has a spacious, open-layout living room and kitchen with updated appliances (including KitchenAid). You’d have two rooms that work well for an office or gaming setup, along with your own private bathroom on the opposite side of the house from my space, offering a nice sense of separation. The backyard is large and well set up with fruit trees, garden space, a fire pit, string lights, and a BBQ. Washer and dryer are in-unit. Shared areas are mostly furnished, though there’s flexibility to adjust or add pieces if needed. This is a friendly, inclusive household. Standard background and credit check required. Rent for your portion is $1300 per month, with lease terms flexible (longer-term options preferred). Utilities typically run about $150 per month each. I’m a working professional in my 30s and have been in Portland for about 5 years. I like spending time exploring the city and the wider PNW—hiking, camping, trivia nights, game nights, gaming, concerts, and community events. I tend to keep shared spaces clean and organized, while also being realistic about everyday living. If this sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out with a bit about yourself, what you’re looking for in a living situation/housemate, and your availability to come by starting around May 4th (evenings are best). Looking forward to connecting.

Bradley

Bradley,  29

New Listing

Flat share | Hazel Dell, WA, USA

Hi, my name is Bradley. I am a 29-year old male working full-time. I am looking for a roommate in North Hazel Dell right off Hwy 99. I got a nice 2bd apartment on a managers salary few years back but no longer work as a manager cause that stress wasn't worth that pay. I could have moved to a smaller apartment but the neighborhood, neighbors, close proximity to my job and nice apartment made me reluctant to do so. About the Apartment, washer and dryer included in the apartment, big ol vaulted ceilings. 3rd floor, no elevator, balcony with some patio furniture on it. Free parking, but no other amenities offered by the complex. Tons of pantry space and if you got kitchenware you want to bring that's great, otherwise I have some basic stuff here. One extra closet in the laundry room that you can use for storage. The second bedroom I am currently using as a gym, all of it can be packed into a closet in the living room, except for one item. I have a large workout machine that I'll include a picture of, and that will be moved into the living room, which is quite large. You'd have to be ok with that as part of the apartment aesthetic because I am trying to recover physically from an old injury and this thing is great, you'd be welcome to use any of the equipment. There would be no room for additional furniture in the living room, I used to work in the furniture industry so its already packed with nice stuff, and the additional income from a roommate means I'd probably be adding some more art to the walls and such soon, so whatever you would want to bring would have to be in your bedroom and kitchen, unless we discuss it prior and I agree. Apartment bills would be split 50/50. Renters insurance, water/power/trash, internet. If this has caught your interest, shoot me a message and we can set up a 5-10 min video call and see if we get along, and can agree on ground rules so we're both comfortable in our own homes. Photos up in the evening (3/24)

Chaney

Chaney,  32

Looking for female roommate.

Flat share | NE Overlook Drive, Hillsboro, OR, USA

Looking for a female roommate around my age who’s easygoing, respectful, and ideally open to the possibility of becoming friends 😊 I work as a night shift nurse at OHSU, so my schedule can be a bit unconventional, but I’m generally quiet when I’m home and value a calm, comfortable living space. I’m currently based in the Tanasbourne area and really like my complex, but I’m also open to exploring other nearby options. My current lease is ending soon, and since month-to-month rent is getting expensive, I’m hoping to find a roommate situation that helps make living in Portland more affordable, especially as I’ll be taking family leave at times to go back to Indiana to help care for my mom, so I may be splitting time between both places for a while. I do have a cat, Liddy. She’s a Bengal mix. Shes very sweet and affectionate, but she can play a little rough at times (we’re working on it). She would likely be with me when I travel unless we agree otherwise. A little about me: I love hiking, traveling, antique book collecting, music festivals, baking (I’m more of a baker than a cook, my girlfriend handles most of the cooking 😂), photography, and trying new things. I’m pretty adaptable and happy to establish shared expectations like chore charts or house agreements to keep things easy and drama free. As a nurse I would need the apartment party favor free. Looking for someone considerate, communicative, and okay with living in the Tanasbourne/Hillsboro area. If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to connect and see if we click. My current apartment has amazing patio space and is mostly furnished - your room wouldn’t be. And if we look at somewhere new happy to combined things however works. Apparently I don’t have a lot of pictures of my apartment but happy to share and work on that.
