We have a room available beginning September 1 in our 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath house in Woodlawn area in NE Portland. 12 mo lease, first month's rent, and security deposit with a $25 background check. Utilities are about $140 per month and include electricity, gas, trash, internet, water (billed quarterly). Total monthly cost for rent and utilities is around $1,000. The bedroom is about 12' × 12' with a large window and huge closet. It shares a full bathroom with one other roommate. Additional storage in the coat closet and garage. Single occupancy only. The kitchen is large with modern appliances, a gas range, and plenty of cookware and equipment. The furnished living room has a large sofa and TV with several streaming services and lots of houseplants throughout the common areas. There’s plenty of street parking as well as driveway. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with multiple parks and grocery stores nearby. There are two roommates, a guy and a girl, ages 39 and 29 respectively. I am currently working with a restaurant group and at local farmers markets. I enjoy gardening, cooking, recreational sports, and karaoke. The other roommate works as an aid for people with disabilities, enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, and weekly game nights. We have two free roaming cats and another that stays in one of the bedrooms, preferably no more pets but we can discuss. Please be LGBTQ friendly and four twenty friendly. Hi there, future roommate! We have two rooms available upstairs in our home in Portland's Piedmont neighborhood! The house is near several major bus lines, within walking distance of the Dekum Triangle, close to both Alberta Arts District and Mississippi Avenue, and, most importantly... a Taco Bell. 🌮 Rent is $975/month plus utilities, which are split evenly among the residents. Winter is usually the most expensive and utilities average around $150 per person, give or take. The upstairs includes two rooms (about 150 sq. ft. each) plus a 100 sq. ft. landing, with plenty of storage. You'll have a driveway parking spot and share the main floor bathroom with one other roommate. Rooms are unfurnished. You'll be living with two quiet forty-somethings. Jhon and I have been friends for nearly 20 years and have lived together on and off for about. We're into music, video games, board games, and books. We both played in bands, though Jhon still plays while I've mostly traded my guitars for reading. Jhon is self-employed and building his flooring business. I work for a large logistics company and hope to move into the public sector. We don't drink or party much, and we both have partners who occasionally spend the night. Who we're looking for: Someone who wants roommates because they enjoy living with people, not just because they need a place to sleep.
