Looking for a room
Flatmate | Groningen, Netherlands
Hi! I'm Andris, an incoming student at the University of Groningen starting this September, where I'll be studying Econometrics and operations research. I'm moving over from Latvia and I'm looking for a place to settle into for my studies — ideally from a few days before 1 September. A bit about me: I'm tidy, social and easygoing in the best sense — I like keeping shared spaces clean and respecting everyone's space, but I'm just as happy cooking together, having a chat, or heading out for the night as I am having a quiet evening in. I speak Latvian, Russian and English, so I'd fit right into an international house. Outside of studying you'll usually find me at the gym, out cycling, spending time with friends, or working on my side projects in finance and trading. I'm open to a room in a place with one or two housemates, or a studio of my own. My finances are fully sorted, so rent will always be paid on time and in full. I don't smoke indoors — never in my own place, and certainly not in a shared home. I'm planning to stay for at least my first year, and happily longer if I feel at home. If you think I'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you and arrange a viewing!
