Rooms for Rent in Oregon, USA

Hi, my name is Jason. I am a 50-year old professional. I am looking for a roommate. The room is in Lake Oswego. The monthly rent is $750 and the room is available on October 31.

Large bedroom with private bathroom in wellkept home located in quiet residential neighborhood. I pay all utilities and services. I am a social worker who travels four days per week so you would have the house to yourself the majority of the time.

Private, unfurnished 11′ × 13′ bedroom available now in my shared home in Vancouver, WA. Rent is $950/month for one person or $1,300/month total for a couple. Utilities and internet are included. Youll have shared use of the kitchen, living room, laundry, backyard, covered patio, hot tub, and seasonal cooling pool. The hall bathroom is shared with another housemate and occasional guests. Driveway parking is available. I travel regularly and am looking for a dependable, independent housemate who will treat the home with care. Well discuss and agree on a few specific household tasks in advance, especially for times Im away: mowing, watering the lawn and plants, handling the garbage and recycling bins, and basic hottub care. This is also a dogboarding home. Visiting dogs are sometimes here, and there may be several during busy periods. One compatible dog of your own may be considered, with $50/month pet rent and a $250 refundable pet deposit. No cats, please. The home is LGBTQ+-friendly and 420-friendly. In warm weather, the private backyard patio and hottub area may be clothingoptional, usually during the summer. Participation is entirely optional. All applicants must complete an application and background check and provide rental and character references. For couples, each adult must submit a separate application, complete a background check, and provide references. The $1,000 security deposit may be paid in installments if needed, but at least $500 must be paid before you receive access to the home. Full prorated rent for the first month is also due before movein; we can agree on a schedule for the remaining deposit balance. Message me with a little about yourself, your movein timing, any pets, and what youre looking for in a housemate situation.

Available November 5th (or possibly sooner). Large bedroom on the second floor of a house near N Alberta and N Albina (walking distance to Mississippi neighborhood). Lots of natural light, with south- and westfacing windows, a nice window seat, hardwood floors, AC, and a walkin closet. Room is currently furnished (but could come unfurnished if you prefer) There is ample room for a queen bed, a desk, and a little sitting area in the corner. Utilities, including WiFi, usually run $60–$100 extra. Shared bathroom, laundry and storage in the basement, offstreet parking available, and a backyard. No smoking and no pets. The house is a two story over an unfinished basement (with lots of storage)... a comfortable and cared for space. Easy for the right person to fit in and feel at home here. Two people currently live here (youd be the third). One is a man in his forties, loves reading, cooking and being in nature, and is a writer and researcher who travels for work, sometimes for weeks at a time in Canada. The other is a woman in her forties who works in healthcare and social work, works a fulltime job outside the house, and loves movie nights in the living room. Both have lived here for years. The house is calm and low key. Looking for someone mature and responsible with a steady job who is easy to live with and is out during the day more often than not. If youre interested, Id appreciate if you shared a bit about yourself: your work, your schedule, and what youre looking for in a shared house. Bonus points for reading the ad this far and thoughtfully answering this question: Thinking about past roommates or shared homes, what do you think makes you a good person to live with? If it seems like a fit, lets a short video call before you come see it. Looking forward to hearing from you!
