My roommate and I have been living together here for almost 6 years! We’re both creatives in our late 20s/early 30s in the entertainment industry. We're furnishing our spare room and hoping to rent it out on a short term basis (1 to 3 months at a time). It would be perfect for someone new to LA and in need of a landing pad to get them started, or someone visiting and looking for a temp place to call home. I also have a sweet rescue dog named Bessie.

Photos are from when I used to live in the room previously, so it won't be the same furniture. There's a shared bathroom with shelf and cabinet space for toiletries. We have off street parking as well as very easy street parking in the neighborhood. No laundry in the building, we use the neighborhood laundromat. The bedroom is currently furnished with a bed, and we're going to add additional things like a dresser, night stand, etc and can provide some hangers in the closet. We may be able to provide sheets and pillows for the bed as well, depending on the needs of our renter.

The apartment is located in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, adjacent to a neighborhood called Virgil Village. It's walking distance to a lot of great things; coffee shops, a big beautiful park, delicious vietnamese street food, a small Target, and a scenic walk down the hill to Sunset Boulevard and all the yummy food and fun shops. The Silver Lake Reservoir is just a short drive away, and we're close enough to the highway to be convenient without having the noise.
