I'm a marketing professional looking for a private room to rent for about 6 months (maybe longer). I am in the midst of a separation/divorce and need a place to stay until everything is settled and I can find my own place. I'm what I would consider fairly clean but not a neat freak. I always pay bills on time (+ credit score). I love animals but don't have pets that are coming with me. I work a lot and would rarely be home except to sleep. So if you are looking for the perks of help with your rent but want the perks of living alone, I'm the roommate for you. If you want a bestie, I'm probably not a great choice because I will be gone most of the time. When I am home I am laid back, I don't make much noise, will never have house guests, will keep my stuff clean, can cook if you want, am fine with vegan, vegetarian, or meat eaters. I've done all the above. I mostly keep to myself. Am happy to help with any house chores. I'm not anti-social at all, matter of fact once I warm up to someone I can be quite chatty and outgoing. I am also fine with being by myself and keeping to my room if that is what you prefer. I'm quite resilient and adaptable and pretty much get along with everyone (except my wife apparently 🙃) I'm happy with roommates of any age, any gender, orientation or preference. As long as you are neat-ish, and respectful we will get along just fine.
