Hi all, My name is Bahizi, and I'm planning to move to NYC in January. I’m looking for a room in a shared apartment in Brooklyn. I’m originally from Rwanda, but I have spent most of my life traveling around the world. I currently work as an urban designer and planner in Atlanta, but I have previously lived in Boston (for grad school) and Washington, DC (working in international development). I’d describe myself as a considerate, respectful, and friendly roommate. In my downtime, I enjoy reading (The Foghorn Echoes), listening to political podcasts (Majority Report), and planning future trips (South Africa is next on my bucket list). I’m looking forward to spending my free time reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, exploring the city on foot, and taking advantage of everything it has to offer.
