And yes of course I can and will accommodate any young moms.The smaller room is available for rent as a personal bedroom for even cheaper, or as a bonus room for slightly extra. Extra storage in the garage, free with the room, in case you can’t fit all your things in your space. More than willing to make room for any furniture that matches or adds to the vibe, but the place is furnished, wall art included (all from Comic-Con, I will gladly send photos).I am looking for a roommate to put on the lease and hopefully chill out with. The room is too damn small to be spending all your time in there, so I’m hoping we can be some type of friends. With things the way they are in the world right now, I am happy to be a soft place to land and a friend for anyone who needs somewhere to be themselves. Just trying to make a corner of the world where good people can share good company and try their best to be happy. Not cultivating a tense or hateful environment and I will stand my ground on that.I wish I had bigger bedrooms I could offer, but I love this home and will do my best to be a comfortable, fun, accommodating place to spend your time. It is likely designed with a small child or office space in mind. There is seating inside the closet as an odd but cute feature, but not much can be done with the space.If it goes unrented, I’ll likely furnish it with a murphy bed, cushions, mood lighting and some type of multipurpose side table. I can also purchase either a projector or a small, wall mountable screen to add some creature comforts. Please let me know if you are interested in a pre-furnished tiny bedroom, and I will do my best to set the space for you. This room is also available as an add-on to my other listing, which shares a wall with this room and is slightly bigger. If you are in need of an extra office space, or a kids room, we can negotiate the cost of renting both rooms. I am willing to rent it out for less, especially if you don’t need the garage, but either way. This is a great option if you need a safe space to rest for a few months or save money - and like it says in all my listings, you are more than welcome to spend your time in the living room however and with whoever you’d like. Move in date is for November 1st, one year lease.House is open to any chill human who is pet friendly (we have 2 cats and a small dog), queer friendly and cannabis friendly.You'll be sharing one of the full bathrooms with the woman and there's a half bath on the main floor.The room is about with a large closet and a south facing window.The house has a large coat closet and garage for storage. We are halfway between Woodlawn park and Alberta park. Safeway is a 3 minute drive and Fred Meyers is about 5 minutes away.Kitchen is large with granite countertops, fridge with ice maker, all the gadgets and cookware you could want. I like to bake and will happily share whatever I make.House has central heating, but you'll probably want to consider a portable AC unit for summer. There is a lovely front porch and a decently sized front yard. I have some plantings including a strawberry patch. Feel free to plant whatever you want in Spring.There is plenty of street parking as well as a driveway which you're welcome to use.Utilities are about $ per month (electric, fiber internet, gas, trash and water). Water bill is quarterly but averages out to about $ per person per month.Our previous roommate is moving out by the end of the month so we're targeting a November 1st move in, but you might be able to move in sooner depending on her situation.
