You're welcome to remodel as much as you'd like, I don't have renters rules as long as you confine everything to the room. I have another room for rent in the house, right across the hall, if you can afford both you can have double the living space. The shared bathroom is newly renovated. I'm actively renovating the house while I'm living here, so keep that in mind.
