Must be okay with and like dogs, I have 2 female dogs (black lab and pitbull) who have free range of the house and yard. (Crated at times but usually not). Home is a row home on the outskirts of the “city” of Columbia. Down a one way street. It is street parking. Rent is $ per month plus half utilities. The building is not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately.The complex allows cats for a $ fee and dogs for a $ fee. The pet rent is $ a month with a two pet limit, and there are dog breed restrictions. I have no pets and am happy to welcome any brought in so long as they are house trained.The building is clean and well maintained, with management conducting regular safety inspections each year. The bathroom has a stain on the ceiling that maintenence has cleared, and the unit occasionally carries a strong chemical smell from neighbors cleaning for those sensitive. The unit is also currently furnished, though applicants will need their own bedroom furnishings.Rent includes water and garbage, and applicants will be required to pay for half of utilities. I am happy to utilize shared groceries or individual based on applicant preference.As an individual, I keep long hours with early mornings and prefer relatively quiet hobbies. My pronouns are they/them, I work at an elementary school, and I need to check my pockets for rocks instead of coins. There’s a huge open unfinished basement with a couple rugs, an old bar and a washing machine and dryer. I’d be willing to rent it out for $ each to no more than two people. There’s a small crawl space attached also. I could put some furniture and a couple more carpets down there to make it more cozy. The moving fee will only apply if I have to bring large furniture downstairs and set it up. Because one of the washer and dryer sets is down in the basement, other roommates will occasionally need to come down to the basement. I will expect them to respect your privacy and knock to let you know before they come downstairs. It’s all about respect and I expect each of my tenants/roommates to respect each other‘s boundaries and privacy. The rent is same amount as the security deposit. Parking is free.
