Über mich

Hi! I am starting at NVCC in Medical Technology this fall, and I'm looking to form a large shared house (maybe 8-12 people) near Springfield to keep rent low. Not signing or even looking at houses yet, just connecting early! I will be a 2026 graduate coming out of senior year and am freshly 18. I have minimal parental support due to a rocky relationship with my guardian, and while trying to make ends meet I am also looking for fun and memories. You're only 18 once and I've lived my life primarily as a shut in. I want to find something that makes me feel alive, and I find that in people! I know I'm a bit ahead of the game, but I wanted to secure a general plan and start searching for roommates early in case it turns out to be a bit of a struggle. I am totally winging being an adult and pretty much everything in my life right now, so feel free to reach out! Any support or advice is appreciated. I'd say key information about me is that I can work with just about anyone. I can do whatever chores you hate, we can be best friends or total strangers, pets or no pets. I'm down for anything. If it's my preference, I'd like to have at least some sort of friendship. My belief is that roommates should be fun and enjoyable to be around to some degree, and it makes our lives so much easier. Main interests of mine are pretty cringy, but again we never have to talk about them. Things like warrior cats, dnd, marvel rivals, wings of fire, spiderman, obviously biology, roller skating, art, roleplay, larping, psychology, writing, pokemon, palworld, etc. I've grown up around animals and have taken care of cats, snakes, birds, and squirrels in my lifetime while also working in a cat clinic for almost 3 years now. I'd say my style is relatively gothic and my music is semi diverse across hyperpop to indie and grunge to alt to punk and rock and rap. I have a PS5 and would be so down to play games together, even just cheesy board games.
