Gem of a bedroom in a 5-bed/3-bath duplex with a private yard, 2 kitchens, and 4 easygoing roommates. Available as soon as Apr 15, replacing me on the lease that runs through Aug 31. This place was perfect for me when I found it in February 2024. It's truly a gem! Room has high ceilings, gets lots of light, and fits a full/double bed, dresser, desk, shelving, and more. You'll have two closets (one in the room, one in the hallway) and a raised storage area just outside the room. Bathroom shared with 2 other people on the same floor, TBD and moving in around the same time. Building basement has laundry (app-operated), bike storage, and an extra half bathroom. The building has a really big shared backyard in addition to our unit's private yard. Roommates living in the downstairs are 2 men who work in the hospitality and film, one is also a student. They're old friends, both pretty independent and varying degrees of busy, and we've often gone days without bumping into one another. While the duplex is under the same lease, the unit has operated essentially as 2 apartments. Bills are shared and have come out to about $85/mo. per person. Move-in between April 15 and May 1. You'd be replacing me on the lease, which runs through Aug 31 with the option to renew after that. To move in, management will require: an application with typical stuff like proof of income and credit check, and standard 1st month's rent + deposit (+ prorated rent for April depending on move-in day). Room will be unfurnished, shelves and desk are for sale.
