listing.detail.description
I lived in NYC for seventeen years and I moved to Los Angeles in May of last year. I'm currently looking for a room in a sizable apartment (or house, fingers crossed), where I can bring my perfect angel of a cat.
I would be open to starting a new lease with someone who's looking for a similar situation. I could take on a maximum of 2 roommates, and if 3 people could each bring to the table a nice house in a decent area is actually quite doable.
I'm working quite a bit right now between my two restaurant jobs, a range of days and nights. I'm also trying to build a career outside of that, so I can't promise that I'll be the most social roommate in the next few months. I can promise that I will try to operate from a place of respect and kindness, and generally prefer calmer vibes these days. If we ever find ourselves home at the same time and sharing a glass of wine, that's great too. I do smoke weed (not cigarettes), but can do it outside of the apartment if it’s a dealbreaker.
I'm gay, nonbinary, and generally looking for roomies of the LGBTQIA+ variety, or at least straight people who get it. I don't want to ever be in a situation where I'm explaining or defending my relationships or gender identity in my home to someone who's even remotely hostile. Not where I sleep, henny!
About my cat, Leland.... as of October he's about months old. I adopted him at random a couple months after my cat passed and he's truly an angel. Turns out he's got a great bit of Maine Coon in him. I didn't know anything about that breed, but they're insanely social with humans once they get to trust them. Almost like puppies
. He's obsessed with running water and does like to investigate a sink, but he's a complete sweetheart and has been pretty good with other animals as well. I think he would merge well with other pets, if you have them, especially dogs.
