I’m putting this out here because I’m honestly at a point in my life where I’m trying to rebuild everything from the ground up. I recently came out of a really difficult situation, and right now I basically have nothing but the clothes on my back. But I’m not giving up. I have a good job, I’m working, and I’m doing everything I can to get myself back on my feet. I’m looking for a room in Norfolk, Chesapeake, or somewhere close by that I can move into as soon as possible, ideally Monday. I currently have $400–$450 available toward a deposit, and I’m working, so I’m looking for someone who is willing to give me a chance and work with me. I’m not looking for a handout or for someone to take care of me. I just need a safe, stable place where I can lay my head, go to work, and continue rebuilding my life. I’m a respectful, clean, hardworking person. I’ll respect your home, follow the rules, pay what I owe, and do my part. I know everybody has a story, and I’m not trying to make excuses for where I’m at. I just went through a situation that put me in a really tough place, and now I’m choosing to start over instead of giving up. If anyone has a room available and is willing to work with someone who is employed and ready to move Monday or immediately after, please reach out to me.
