We’re offering an unfurnished bedroom in our 3-bedroom home, shared with two easygoing, respectful, 420-friendly male creatives in their early 40s. The initial sublet term is 3 months, and we’re hoping to find a like-minded third housemate who values a calm, considerate living environment. Please, no couples, pets, heavy partying, or cigarette smoking. The house sits in an amazing spot—tucked up on a hillside in Echo Park, beside Elysian Park, so it feels peaceful and removed, yet you’re just minutes from the activity and nightlife of Sunset Blvd. Best of both worlds. Shared spaces include a spacious kitchen, a living room, a front porch with a great view, and a hallway bathroom (with shower/tub) that you’d share with one roommate. Laundry is available on-—washer is free, dryer is coin-operated. The home dates back to the 1920s and features beautiful hardwood floors throughout. The bedroom offers good closet space and a ceiling fan. Parking is street-based, but you'll be able to find spots nearby. The area is very walkable, with easy access to bars, cafes, restaurants, bookstores, and shops. There’s also a farmer’s market just a block away every Friday. Available starting April. Rent is $975/month (utilities and internet not included) plus a security deposit equal to one month’s rent, refundable at the end of the lease (July 1st) assuming the room is left in good condition. We’re starting with a 3-month arrangement as a chance for everyone to get a feel for the fit and overall vibe, with the possibility of transitioning into a longer-term, month-to-month.
