I am renting out a furnished room in my house. I work from home, but I am mostly tucked away in my office with my two very friendly dogs. Rent is $1500 and includes internet and utilities, and there is parking in the driveway and on the street. I would ideally like to find someone for a short-term lease to start but I am flexible. Additional pets will be considered on a case by case basis. About the space: Comfortable, fully furnished private room (~10 ft by 11 ft) with a brand-new queen bed, mid-century modern dresser, two nightstands, closet, recently refinished hardwood floors, and plenty of natural light. Guests have their own room and private use of the hall bathroom, which includes a shower and bidet toilet. You will also have full access to the kitchen, dining room, and family room, as well as a washer and dryer in the garage. There is also a large backyard in the back. Neighborhood overview: Located on a quiet street in the Old Martinez neighborhood, this home offers a calm and safe environment. The street is lined with twinkle lights and has a friendly mix of professionals and families. Downtown Martinez is just minutes away, with antique shops, local cafes, a weekend farmer's market, and scenic waterfront walks along the Carquinez Strait.
