Quiet Furnished Room + Workspace

I’m looking for a clean, quiet, furnished room in a safe and respectful home. My ideal setup includes a comfortable bed, a desk and chair suitable for daily computer work and writing, reliable high-speed internet, and enough space to keep a few personal belongings organized without feeling cramped. I’m a writer, musician, and semi-retired technology consultant, so I spend a good portion of my day working on research, writing, consulting projects, and other creative work. Because of that, having a functional workspace is important to me. A simple desk and comfortable chair are perfectly fine; I do not need anything elaborate. I would prefer access to a shared kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. A private bathroom would be a bonus but is not required. I am also open to a private entrance, basement room, in-law suite, or similar arrangement if available. A peaceful environment is important. I am respectful, clean, quiet, dependable, and value clear communication and reasonable household expectations. I do not need constant social interaction, but I appreciate a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Location is also important. Ideally, I would like to be within reasonable walking distance or easy transit access to groceries, coffee shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and other everyday necessities. Good access to medical care, public transportation, and cultural or university areas would also be helpful. I am looking for a place where I can settle in, work, write, read, and enjoy a calm daily routine. I have reliable monthly income and am looking for a stable, well-kept furnished room with considerate people and straightforward arrangements.
