Needing to establish in Sacramento

First off, looking for a room to rent for a couple. We moved here from Colorado, and have been what is considered as "hidden homelessness" since. We just want to start making the right steps towards our own place. We are both respectful of rules and personal space. He works full time, and I am looking for a job that is a decent fit & wont make me miserable. We are older, and dont have any friends in Sacramento, so there is no worries about partying. At most we would have his mother over for a meal, or my daughter may come hang out once in a while. Otherwise, we are honestly, pretty recluse. I enjoy cooking so there is always the chance of having some fresh made treat or filling meal at the ready. Thank you for your consideration in advance.
