Looking for a Place Near South End

Hello! Starting in late January/early February, I will be taking a new position at a company I’ve worked with for years. I was considering all options and renting a room with someone seems like a great year solution to avoid commuting daily from Winston Salem. I’m in my mid s, super nice guy, easy to talk to and get along with. I am happily partnered for
years this Sept. My partner isn’t able to move down to CLT just yet and my 3 dogs and cats require a large yard. (I also have 2 cats, all of which will stay at my home in Winston, so if you have animals, that is not a problem.) Being that I do plan to maintain my primary residence at my current address, I would only be there Monday evening/after work through Thursday mornings % of the time. My office is in South End…hoping to find somewhere near there or close to a Light Rail station for easy commutes to the gym and work
