i'm a 31y0 professor looking for a roommate to join my lease:) i've been living in my apartment on the east side (holly neighborhood) for nearly 3 years. my previous roommate moved out earlier this summer and i'm looking to fill her room. Current lease goes until May 31, 2027 with option to renew. Details about the room/apartment below: 🏡 The apartment is centrally located. I used to go to UT and it was about an 8-10 minute drive or 20 minute bus ride. We are within 10 minute walk to lady bird lake and 8 minute drive to downtown. Walking distance to HEB, several bars and restaurants and coffee shops, comedy and music venues, breweries, gyms, parks, trails, and a library. Close to 135 and 183. Street parking only. GREAT neighborhood. 🛏️ Room is spacious and sunlit. We share a bathroom, kitchen, and living area. We are on the landlord's property and live in an upstairs unit. 👩🏻🏫 Your roommate will be me -- an academic who spends a significant amount of time working from home. I work from campus twice a week but the rest of the time like to work from home. I like to keep a clean house and love shopping for fun knickknacks and thrifting for housewares. I listen to music and podcasts aloud in the kitchen and living room sometimes. I cook a fair amount. I also have a cat! He is pictured and very sweet. He loves belly rubs and playing with his toys. Would prefer no pets for this reason. 🫵🏼 Ideally, you are quiet, considerate, and clean. Women roommates STRONGLY preferred. 💲Rent is $865/mo all utilities included. Also require a deposit of one month's rent (865) that will be returned as long as room is left in good condition when moving out.
