We are looking for a new housemate to join this spacious and comfortable home in Brentwood, MD, half mile from DC. First floor bedroom with a private bathroom; room is available furnished or unfurnished. Available August 23, 2026. Monthly rent $700 includes gas, electric, water and internet. Lease length of 9 months or longer. Security deposit equal to one month’s rent. In the house, the shared first floor features living room, dining room, large kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, microwave) and laundry. Hardwood floors in the living room and dining room; carpeted floors in the bedrooms. Central air conditioning. Large back yard and front porch for outdoor activities, dedicated driveway for shared parking. This rental property includes on- Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charger accessible from the driveway. We are located approximately 0.5 mile from the Washington DC border, with easy access to DC city center, College Park and other areas in Maryland. The area is well connected with bus service. The nearest metro stops are West Hyattsville (yellow/green line) and Brookland–CUA (red line).
Animal-friendly property. Cats and dogs are welcome. Maximum of two animals, combined weight limit of 55 lbs. Maximum of one dog, up to 40 lbs fully grown. Subject to approval by owner and by 2nd housemate and will require a signed pet addendum. All inquiries are welcome. Please provide a full name and where you work or study.
