Lease Takeover in Silver Spring

Hello! My roommate and I are moving and we are looking for someone to take over our lease. The apartment is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment on the 2nd floor. There is a combined living room / dining room area, and then a kitchen. The apartment complex is near Down Town Silver Spring. It is walkable to the Silver Spring Metro, buses, as well as groceries, shops, restaurants, and other fun things. The apartment is pet friendly and features a pool, a gym, free parking for residents, onsite laundry, and a small dog park. Base rent is $1947/month. Pets are an extra monthly fee, included with rent. Utilities are about $100-200 a month (not included, but paid to the apartment management company, so they’re packaged together). Utilities include everything but internet. Our timeline is to move out of the apartment in May, with you moving in June 1st. We need a decision at the beginning of May so that we can do the lease takeover paperwork prior to the mid-May deadline so you can be on the lease and we can be removed from the lease by June 1st. If we move fast, we might be able to do May 1st instead of June. The current lease ends on July 31.
