I have a large bedroom available in my apartment from April 1st.

The apartment is very big and comfortable. The Room for rent is so large that it feels like a private studio. It has high ceilings, wooden floors, and a beautiful built-in library. The room comes furnished with a queen-size bed, sofa, & dresser.

The kitchen and bathroom are shared.

There is a laundromat and a doorman in the building.

C train is two blocks away with a -minute commute to midtown/downtown. Grocery stores, pharmacies, and supermarkets are just two blocks away.

The neighborhood is a historic treasure, not to mention the building, which used to be the home of many luminaries like Duke Ellington, Paul Roberson, and Count Basie.
The neighborhood conserves the old-school NY kind of feeling. A true gem.

About me:
I am an artist, and I love NYC and my neighborhood. I work from home as a designer and illustrator. I am kind, relaxed, and friendly.

My home culture is friendly, yet private, respectful, and cool, I expect the same from the new roommate.

You must be honest and reliable, have proof of income, pay rent on time, and be clean and respectful of my home. No Drama, No couples.

The space is available from April 1st on a month-to-month basis, however, I do ask for a 4-month minimum staying time in which we both see if we are a good match and if we feel good living together. I also ask for a one-month advance notice if you want to leave the space

Utilities not included are about $ a month (heat, water, gas, electricity, and internet)

One month rent, one month deposit to move in.
