Welcome to your new home in a recently remodeled basement suite with your own private full bathroom, a kitchenette, laundry and plenty of room for a living and sleeping area.

The + sf private suite is part of a bath semi detached red brick family home halfway between Takoma Park MD and the NW Petworth neighborhood. There is ample unrestricted parking. The block consist of long term residents as well as young families. It’s the type of block where we know our neighbors and stop to chat on the porch when we see one another.

Your roommates are two besties living their best lives. Our place is peaceful, well-appointed and maintained and we cook most of our meals at home. We are borderline vegan with quality cheat days.

Monique – mid s. IT Career professional. Works downtown M-F and attends graduate school at NYU in the evening. Favorite shows: all things RuPaul, the Golden Girls and horror movies.

Sharon – mid s. ESL instructor, artist and astrologer. Yogi, gluten free. Loves to hike, camp and hang outdoors. Classically trained musician and vocalist.

Together we enjoy staying fit at home (Peleton and weights), supporting one another in reaching our goals, and planning major trips a year. In January we are traveling to London for RuPauls Drag Con and two years ago we went to New Orleans for Jazz fest (see pic below).
