Hey, I’m Shane! I’m looking for two roommates to rent a 3+ bedroom house with me starting in December. I’m moving to start school at OSU in January, where I’ll be studying Animal Science. I also run a company that humanely relocates wildlife from people’s properties back into the wild, and my long-term dream is to build a wildlife sanctuary someday.
About me: I’m a -year-old disabled veteran with PTSD (no special accommodations needed) and a -friendly environment. I’m a transman, so LGBTQ+ friendly roommates are a must. I’m looking to escape the conservative nature of Texas and want to create a space where I can surround myself with like-minded people who feel safe. I’m passionate about social justice, freeing Palestine, and voting for Kamala Harris, so if you share these values, we’ll likely get along well!
I have two medium-sized dogs, a cat, and a bunny, so it’s important that you’re cool with pets and willing to help out. I’d love roommates who can help with things like switching laundry, letting the dogs out, or even playing with the bunny when I’m not around. In return, we can work out a system to reduce your rent for helping with pet-sitting or chores if that sounds good!
I’m big into video games, going to the movies, and streaming shows, so if that’s your vibe, we’ll have fun hanging out. Ideally, I’m looking for roommates who are friendly, respectful, and interested in building a community vibe where we help each other.
Details:
I haven’t chosen a place yet, so you’ll have to check out properties before we settle on one. Rent and utilities will be split three ways evenly. Currently, I am looking at Water Ave NE, Albany, OR .
You’ll have key locks on your room for added privacy. I’m making this post early because I’d love to get to know each other before we move in together and ensure we’re a great fit.
Feel free to reach out if this sounds like a good setup for you, and let’s chat!
