Sunny, spacious (17’x10’) primary bedroom for rent in shared 2 bd house seated right on the edge of powderhorn park - you can see the park from the front yard:). I can furnish the bedroom if you need. Comes with a big 6 ft long walk-in closet and one kind housemate (me). I’m a 30 yo teacher, renting this whole house from the owner who’s a housing organizer and clearly cares about her tenants because she keeps rent well below what she could charge. There’s off-street parking, a fenced backyard, new washer/dryer, dishwasher, large 3-season porch, unfinished basement for storage, a real working fireplace and tons of built-in charm. I’m not a perfect roommate but I’m a good one! I’m human & annoying in human ways but I think I’m worth it for the right housemate, as I’m sure you are too. I love cultivating a beautiful garden for housemates to enjoy (you can anticipate this in the front & back), I’m pretty clean but nonjudgmental if a housemate’s less clean than me, and I care about the people around me even if our relationship mostly exists in passing. I’m a preschool teacher also working on finishing a teaching degree. Otherwise I spend many hours reading, and making things. I’m also trans nonbinary and I’d prefer a housemate who’s personally familiar with that, but you’re still welcome to reach out as long as you’re no transphobe (all genders welcome). I oscillate between your quiet/ unseen roommate to being a chatty & invested neighbor. We certainly don’t need to be close but I’m usually buds with my housemates. I’m in no party animal but I do love to host a group hang and/or a small party every so often. Otherwise singular, pleasant visitors are my norm. My cats are true babies and they will love you for any attention you pay them.
