Just a grad student here in Chicago that would like to find a 2bd apartment. I have an agent already, and I am looking for a place that does not exceed $2,800 total rent per month. Ballpark $1,350 rent per-person. There are three options my agent has found that are in fantastic locations on the northside of Chicago. Two in Northalsted, and one in Buena Park. All 2bd units. Units come with laundry in unit or in building, and all utilities billed into the total price - except electric and internet. Looking to sign an 18 month lease. This will bring the total rent per month down slightly. I had other arrangements prior - but that’s fallen through. So hoping to get someone to jump on this with me as soon as possible. For the agent to complete your side of the apartment. You’ll need to provide paystubs that show you can make 3 times what your portion of the rent is. So about ~$4,000 gross/before tax is needed per month to qualify. You’ll have a credit pull and must have 675+ credit score to qualify.
