Roommate wanted - girls, gays and theys preferred.

Your room:
• Spacious studio on the ground floor with private entry (approx. ’).
• Includes gas fireplace and built-in storage. Currently used as an art studio, but easily adaptable for bedroom + seating areas.
• Think of it as your own mini apartment (minus the bathroom/kitchen).

Our shared home:
• -bath home (~ sqft) built in with a ton of lovely character
• Generous living room and dining room with lots of natural light.
• Spacious kitchen with dishwasher and gas stove.
• Laundry, fenced backyard with patio, BBQ, raised garden bed, and mature fruit trees (apple/plum), lavender and raspberries.
• Quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks from Alaska Junction for shops, restaurants, and transit.
• Some additional storage space in the attic available.
• Lots of free street parking available on our block.

Household Vibe:
• A queer, liberal, poly household with myself (designer, artist, music lover) and my two teens (half time). Our adorable cockapoo is also part of the family.
• We value intentional community, mutual respect, and individual expression. The vibe is mostly quiet, but I do enjoy hosting gatherings, spontaneous dance parties, and getting creative in a variety of ways.
• It’s critical that potential roommates share my values - if you support conservative or apolitical views, this won’t be the right fit.
• I’m seeking someone who values a tidy (but not sterile) home environment and enjoys a balance of calm and occasional fun.
• Pets: If you have a dog that gets along with mine, they’re welcome (must be non-shedding).

Rent: includes all utilities, Wi-Fi, streaming services, lawn care, etc. Deposit: 1 mo rent
Background Check: No credit check, but will do a background check and ask for references.
