Hey everyone! I’m looking for a reliable, mindful roommate to co-sign a lease on a 2-bed, 2-bath apartment at The Avant on S. Maple Road. My current lease wraps up on Oct 24, so I want to start the new lease on October 23, 2026, for a smooth 1-to-2-day moving window. Space & Layout: Eyeing the C2 layout (2B/2B), but open to other 2B/2B options. Unit availability isn't 100% confirmed yet; we'll check with the leasing office in late July/August, or earlier if possible. You get a private bed/bath. Furnishing: I have all major living room furniture (couch, dining table, chairs, TV). I care about interior design, aesthetics, and keeping the place clean and smelling fresh. Rent Split: Total rent starts around $2,550+, so expect your split to be roughly $1,275+ plus utilities. Note: I love cars and want the garage space. If you don't need it, I'm happy to pay a larger portion of the rent for it. About Me: I work remotely (from my desk or cafes), usually up around 8:00 a.m., and hit the gym 3–5 times a week. I treat home as a quiet sanctuary to unwind, listen to music, and watch action/sci-fi movies. I’m fine with occasional visitors, but I don't host large groups or parties—I prefer a private home life. Living Dynamic: I value good manners and direct, upfront communication. I keep things clean and vacuum every 2–3 weeks. I do my dishes immediately and prefer them not sit for more than a day. To avoid conflict, we'll keep groceries, kitchen supplies, and essentials (like paper towels) separate, and alternate taking out the trash. Ideal Roommate: Clean, quiet, empathetic, and mindful.
