Hi, I am an early 40s female professional. I am looking for a roommate. The room is in Charlottesville. The monthly rent is $950 (including high-speed internet and trash) + split electrical and water each month and the room is available on September 1. I am looking for a respectful, dependable female roommate (post-grad or professional) to join my lease if the fit is right! You would have your own bedroom and private bathroom that is only accessible from your room. You also would get a parking pass/spot in nearby parking lot (but most of the time you can park near the entry for short amounts of time) We would share a patio space (I have furniture already and plants) that your bedroom window looks out onto. The place is located in a cool industrial retail area with nice shops, sports and crafts. It is very quiet and safe and management has been super responsive over the last year. You are within walking distance to UVA (30 minutes) or biking (10-15) and nearby to Preston Ave and Downtown Charlottesville. You would need to pay for application fee and a fee to be added to the lease. There are no pets or smoking whatsoever allowed here, but it is very clean and quiet as most living here are families and professionals or others working or studying post-grad at UVA. There is garbage here at the building. We are also right down the road from the recycling center so I would ask that we take turns dropping off compost and recycling. I love to hike, cook, enjoy Charlottesville, etc. I love music, art, and being a part of the community. Please let me know more about yourself to see if maybe a fit!
